how to restrict access to camera streaming

Hi,

i have configured motion and it works perfectly, but im unable to find is there an option to restrict acces to camera streaming with username/password because it needs to be available over internet.

At the moment i can access it with link http://example.com:8080, but its accessible to everyone. Restriction to localhost only is not an option.
