Strange mess with some pics

Question

Hi there! i have strange problem here. i use motion 3.2.8 with a Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 an Archlinux. Everything seems to be ok for a short time, but sometimes motion makes every 5 second a picture although there is no change in the room. so motion creates a lot of data a day, about 2 gb in 2-3 days...

Follow Up

Please could you run motion in no daemon mode :

 ./motion -n

And paste motion output , that will help to figure out what is your problem, also the version of the driver used by your webcam will help out.
