Problem : Motions wont be saved

Hi,

first, i want to use this message to say a big THANKS for such a great solution to detect motion and store it. Never used a programm that can do so much useful stuff and come with a easy shell config. Thanks Motion-Team.

The second thing is this - i use motion since a while for my private home, i got 3 usb cams and detected motion there, some time ago i updated via "apt" and set the "snapshot" variable to "on" to get a view snapshots and show them in apache , which i installed by the way.

Motion is in Version : 3.2.3 via Debian APT installed Distribution is Debian 3.1rc4 unstable (to get all the latest packages) All the needed Packages are installed as written in the manual.

I recognized that no more motion is detected - since yesterday i tried to get this to work and checked the config, but i cant find any failure and get motion to save detected motion well. The Detection AND the Saving worked before i updated, installed apache and activated the "snapshot"

Can anybody help me with this ? Why is Motion never change my pictures and what is event 1 or 2 doing, can i control them ?

Nothing happens, no picture got saved, only the event 2 is starting if i
select "save the best picture in motion" or event 1 if i set this easily
to "on".

Follow up

Please get the last version of motion 3.2.7 and try to reproduce the problem ... i'm sure that it will desapear at all.
