BUG: Problem with "grey" video from motion

Video goes to the grey screen with message "Unable to open Video Device since <date>" printed top left after random time of motion running. Grey video may has a long time period or just a few seconds. If you kill motion and start again during "Grey" video period it becomes normal video again. When video goes to grey I have such log as below.

Please help me with grey screen . I used different builds of motion and ffmpeg and always got such result.
